This was a really great bargain hotel that I would go back to time and time again. There are perfectly clean rooms but no elevator, if you don't like stairs either find another resort or try to be on the ground floor. It's a great location on the beach and it has a lot of free entertainment if you just walk the grounds you won't miss out. The staff here really do go a little extra if you need help with anything. We're already booked again for next year.

I've been to Mexico quite a few times and I'm a bit picky so take this review as you will.

The rooms are a bit old for me here and need some maintenance or updating. The beds are fairly comfortable. It's also nice having hammocks on the balcony. There are no hair dryers, my wife hated it so of course I had to hate that too. no coffee makers thank fully because I hate the smell of coffee. Good luck getting coffee in this hotel, I heard quite a few people wining about that one. The cleanliness factor here is quite hit and miss. Some days you'd get great room cleaning and other days there would be very little actually done in your room. Don't expect them to sweep your balcony or anything either. Safety seem quite good here, no one that we talked to had any issues or anything stolen. For the food, expect a little bit of mystery meat with your potatoes, rarely any salads and the fruit is the same each day. The strange thing is that there is no Mexican food at all! Don't go here if you're a vegetarian.

The pool is clean and well kept but there is no pool bar.

The beach is a bit of a pain to get to and they don't have enough chairs to go around. Also there is no food served at the beach.

Thank fully there aren't many partiers at this resort at least while we were there. We had a good time but there are better places to visit
